In the lab where I work, there are major renovations that are happening and will continue until well into next year. It is long overdue but the bad thing is that I, along with my colleagues, had to move everything out of the lab. I'm not complaining about doing it, but it's one of those things where you don't realize just how much there is until you're in the thick of it. The largest obstacle we had to face was the moving of a solvent purification system. The equipment, awkward in shape, weights no less than 600 lbs when emptied. To empty it, we needed to remove seven, 16 L canisters of heavy solvent and clear the connecting lines of solvent as well. After the removal I was able to get some shots of the canisters with their pressure regulators.
