I got married this past October to the girl next door. We have known each other since we were children, and depending on which one of us you ask, you will receive a different story as to how we met. I say it was in the first grade and she says it was the second. In the long run, it doesn't really matter. After being together for six years we got engaged, then after three years of engagement we got married. She has been very patient with me lately and my photography. Who am I kidding, she has been patient with me and my antics for years. Ten years is right around the corner and there are many more to come after. I think of two things when I see her. One being what Ann Druyan said about her time with her husband Carl Sagan, "...That pure chance would be so generous and so kind..." to them to bring them together. The other, the words of the New Zealand singer Gin Wigmore in her song Saturday Smile, "I think it's love, that keeps us new".
